Our Story
How corvaulte Came to Be
corvaulte was established in Kuala Lumpur with a clear purpose: to offer legal services that are both technically sound and genuinely considerate of the people who seek them. The founding partners, having spent years in larger practices across Malaysia, wanted to create a firm where attention to individual circumstances would not be crowded out by volume or hurry.
From the beginning, the firm's practice areas were chosen with intention rather than breadth. Medical negligence, franchise law, and notarial services each represent fields where careful analysis and personal attentiveness are particularly important — whether helping someone who has been harmed by substandard medical care, guiding a business through the regulatory landscape of franchising, or ensuring that cross-border documents carry the proper legal weight.
The name "corvaulte" reflects a desire to be a secure, reliable repository for clients' trust. Operating from our office on Jalan Bangsar, we serve clients throughout Malaysia and, for notarial matters, work with counterparts internationally. Our approach is to listen first, advise clearly, and move forward only when our clients feel ready and well informed.
Over the years, the firm has grown through word of mouth and the confidence of returning clients. We have had the privilege of assisting individuals navigating some of the more difficult experiences in their lives, and of helping businesses establish themselves on solid legal foundations. That trust remains the centre of everything we do.

Our Values and Legal Philosophy
Legal practice, at its core, is about people. Behind every case file is a person or a business facing uncertainty, and the role of a legal adviser is to help bring clarity to that uncertainty. At corvaulte, we approach each matter as a responsibility that calls for both technical rigour and genuine empathy.
Our approach to medical negligence work is shaped by an understanding that these cases involve individuals who have already been through a difficult experience. We handle each enquiry with sensitivity, taking care to explain the legal process in terms that make sense, and providing an honest view of the merits rather than raising expectations that may not be met.
In franchise law, we recognise that franchising represents a significant financial and personal commitment for both parties. Our goal is to facilitate fair, well-structured franchise relationships that serve the interests of franchisors and franchisees alike, within the framework of Malaysian regulatory requirements.
Notarial services, while often more procedural in nature, still demand precision and reliability. Documents that are incorrectly executed or improperly authenticated can cause significant complications in cross-border transactions. We take this responsibility seriously and ensure that every notarial act meets the standards required for its intended purpose.
Across all three practice areas, our commitment is the same: to provide counsel that is well considered, clearly communicated, and always mindful of the trust placed in us. We do not take that trust for granted.
