I came to corvaulte after a surgical complication that left me with lasting pain. From the first meeting, they were upfront about what the case involved and what I could realistically expect. They arranged for an independent doctor to review my records, and everything was explained to me clearly at each step. I felt like my case actually mattered to them.

We engaged corvaulte to handle the franchise registration for our food and beverage concept. The process with the Registrar was more involved than I had anticipated, but the team guided us through every requirement without rushing us. They were also honest about a couple of areas where our disclosure documents needed strengthening before submission.

I needed a power of attorney notarised for a property transaction in Australia, and it was more complicated than I thought because of the specific requirements of the Australian state involved. The notary at corvaulte handled it with real attention to detail and even followed up with the receiving law firm to make sure everything was in order.

The franchise agreement review they did for me before I signed on as a franchisee was very thorough. They flagged several clauses that could have put me at a disadvantage during renewal, and helped me negotiate better terms. It took longer than I hoped, but the result was worth the wait.

After a misdiagnosis that delayed my treatment significantly, I was unsure whether I had legal grounds. corvaulte gave me a frank evaluation — they did not oversell the case, which I appreciated. They explained the medical and legal aspects in terms I could follow, and ultimately the matter was resolved through a settlement that I was satisfied with.

Needed several documents notarised for a business registration in Singapore. The process was smoother than expected — everything was completed within a single appointment, and the notary explained each document before I signed. Straightforward, professional, and fairly priced.

Medical Negligence
The Challenge
A patient suffered nerve damage following a routine surgical procedure. The treating hospital disputed liability and the client was unsure whether the outcome constituted negligence under Malaysian law.
Our Approach
We conducted a detailed review of the surgical records and engaged an independent specialist in the relevant discipline. Pre-litigation letters were issued, and settlement negotiations were initiated based on the expert's findings and applicable case precedent.
The Outcome
The matter was resolved through negotiated settlement within eight months, avoiding the need for prolonged court proceedings. The client received compensation that accounted for medical costs, loss of earnings, and pain and suffering.
Franchise Law
The Challenge
A Malaysian food brand sought to expand through franchising for the first time. They needed to comply with the Franchise Act 1998, prepare the required documentation for the Registrar, and structure agreements that would attract quality franchisees.
Our Approach
We prepared the full registration package including the disclosure document and franchise agreement, working closely with the Registrar's office to address feedback during the review process. We also advised on intellectual property protection for the brand's trademarks and recipes.
The Outcome
The franchise was successfully registered within four months. The client has since onboarded three franchisees under the agreement structure we drafted, and we continue to provide periodic compliance reviews as the network grows.
Notarial Services
The Challenge
A Malaysian expatriate needed to execute a power of attorney for property management in the UK while residing in Kuala Lumpur. The document needed to meet specific requirements of the UK Land Registry, which the client's previous notary had not been able to satisfy.
Our Approach
We researched the specific requirements of the UK Land Registry for overseas powers of attorney, prepared the document in the prescribed format, executed the notarial act, and coordinated the apostille process through the relevant Malaysian authorities.
The Outcome
The power of attorney was accepted by the UK Land Registry without queries. The property transaction was completed on schedule, and the client has since returned to us for additional notarial services related to their overseas assets.
